The International Monetary Fund, together with the European Central Bank according to the representatives of Greece set a date for the next tranche to stabilize the faltering economy. Thus, Greece will receive financial assistance equal to 9 billion euros.
The European Union, IMF and ECB are satisfied with the introduction of necessary measures by the Government of Greece, which led to the beginning of reducing the state budget deficit. So in May this year, their costs have dramatically decreased Athens, which reduced the overall level of public expenditure.
Recall that in May 2010. the country was close to bankruptcy, from which it saved 5.5 billion euro loan from the IMF and another 14.5 billion euros came from the European Union. That money, plus another 110 billion euros have been transferred to the Government stamped out of despair with the proviso that the economy will be carried out significant changes in terms of reduction of expenditure on all counts. At the beginning of 2010. debt of Greece to other countries amounted to more than 300 billion euros.
