Today, 17.02.2012, a partnership agreement between the Vice-President of the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG) Rustam Agayev and CEO of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in (Museum in Pirogovo) UkraineDimitriy Zaruba was signed. It was agreed to start the preparation for the certification on European Museum of Standart with quality Seal and to assist in attraction of sponsorship funds for the development and reconstruction of the museum in Pirogovo. The process of certification should be finished before the beginning of EURO 2012.
The European standard can be given to the museums which meet the standards and criteria established by the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry; they should correspond to the general concept of the museum, provide quality museum services, have professional experience and capabilities to provide specialized consulting services.
National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Ukrainewas founded in 1969. It is an exposition of the ethnographic regions of the country which reflect the life of the Ukrainian people in the XVII-XX centuries. The variety of buildings of the museum is located in the open air, which had keeping its identity since 1587.
Museum in Pirogovo represents more than 150 hectares of the territory where objects of everyday life and architecture of ancient Ukraine are located. Within three-hour walk the whole country can be observed: Polesije,Podol,the Carpathians, Naddnipryanshchyna, Poltava, South Ukraine. Such sights attract a lot of tourists who come here from all over the world.
As it has been already reported, on October 7th, 2011, the President of EEIG in Azerbaijan Nizami Piriev handed an honorary diploma standard to the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev, which has been issued to the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan.
