The participants of the conference were: Vice-President of the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry (EEIG) - Rustam Agayev, CEO of the Kiev Pechersk National Historical and Cultural Reserve - Victoria Lisnycha, CEO of the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine (Museum in Pirogovo) - Dmitriy Zaruba, Director of Scientific-Research Institute of monument preservation research - Elena Serdiuk.
A signing of an agreement of cooperation on European standards between the EEIG and Kiev Pechersk National Historical and Cultural Reserve took place at the conference. Besides the participants discussed the stages of certification process, new opportunities for Kiev Pechersk National Historical and Cultural Reserve and for the National Museum and the Folk Architecture and Folkways of Ukraine (Museum in Pirogovo) after achieving the European standard.
European Museum Standard (EuMS) is given to museums that meet requirements and standards, settled by EEIG and coincide the general conception of museum, offer high-quality services, have professional experience.
Completing of Certification and handing of an honorable diploma of standard is scheduled to be held before the beginning of Euro 2012.
