Press conference on the topic "The power safety as a factor of the anti - crisis strategy for Ukraine"
Press conference on the topic "The power safety as a factor of the anti-crisis strategy for Ukraine"

December 2, 2014 according to results of a roundtable discussion, a press-conference, organized by the European Economic Chamber(EEIG) and the Institute of Evolutionary Economics on the topic of «Power safety as a factor of anti-crisis strategy for Ukraine » in UNIAN had been held.

During the discussion the participants of a roundtable discussion paid their attention to the weakness of the governmental economic policy in the field of innovative management changes in regard to the power production, the lack of which slows down the pace of economic development in Ukraine as a whole.

Moreover, the lack of governmental attention to the problems of power production as well as corruption and governmental instability had led to the stop of economic development in general and energy system in particular.

As far as important governmental programs for optimisation of power system, what actually could give the impetus to creation of macroeconomic environment and European social equity, were curtailed, it was found to be impossible to switch Ukrainian manufacturing complex to new technological mode, permitting diversification of power supply sources as well as increase of available power capacity.

The analysis of economic situation has shown that the ability of the national economy came to the limit and  it is impossible to overcome the problems of the crisis without any external financial assistance. Furthermore, in the absence of reforms and focuses on the innovative development in the near future, the situation will remain very critical. Only the provision of financial and economic assistance by countries and other international institutions, without any fundamental changes in the economic policy and administrative problems caused crisis in Ukraine, will not resolve the problem.
